LARVADEX 10 TK is an in-feed fly control for poultry, primarily for feed mills.
LARVADEX 10 TK is prepared as a premix and then incorporated at a ratio of 50g of 10 TK per tonne of feed. Treated feed is given to birds in the usual way.
Cyromazine belongs to a different chemical group than traditional adulticide fly control products. It is not affected by cross-resistance, and controls multi-resistant flies.
LARVADEX is excreted by treated birds in their dung, so wherever there is dung, there is LARVADEX to prevent fly development. This is as distinct from manual treatment of dung, which allows for the possibility of misapplication, and pockets of dung left untreated.

Re-treatment
Under normal circumstances, daily treatment with LARVADEX is only required for 4-6 weeks. After a break of 4-6 weeks re-treatment is recommended.
Time-saving
LARVADEX saves time and labor. No need for manual treatment of large areas of dung - simply add in-food.
Certainty of treatment
LARVADEX is excreted by treated birds in their dung. So, wherever there is dung, there is LARVADEX to prevent fly development.
Predators
LARVADEX does not kill natural predators of flies, allowing them to play their important role in the Anti-Fly Program.
