The white eggs of the false stable fly are similar to house fly eggs and are laid in small batches.
The larvae resemble those of the house fly but differ in the characteristics of the posterior spiracles, with each having three curved slits and a thick peritreme (Figure 6C).
The shape of the cephalopharyngeal skeleton differs from that of the house fly larva (Figure 7C).
